I wish that i could bring you back

We live in a culture where our worth is measured in terms of utility to others, this makes it difficult for our suicidal friends to ask for help especially if they need time with others. They lack a confidant.

If you are staying alive so as not to aggravate someone else then you are not living your best, it is hard to see your existence as anything other than innately toxic hence making the urge of wanting to die in a face of pain overload as a perfectly reasonable response.

Personally I dealt with suicidal feelings, believe me no one gets there on their own. The thoughts are drove by panic responses. Depression, anxiety, intense sadness, are just miserable grinds. I did some local research and found the red alerts that we should be aware of and offer help as early as possible before the panic rises ;

  • Hopelessness
  • Sleep disturbance
  • Changes in appetite
  • Increased irritability
  • Decline in school performance
  • Risky behaviors
  • Poor coping skills

Here is to those who often respond to suicidal feelings that do not actually help, kindly stop. And what are the responses? Calling it selfish, Concentrating on the harm it will cause on others, Demanding them to seek medication/counselling, Shutting them down when sharing what they feel because you feel irritated . Stop you are not the right person to offer help.

If you want to feel comfortable with someone who wants to die, you may have to engage with what’s going on for them. It may hurt. Consider whether it hurts more than the prospect of loosing them. Consider what you can say or do to boost their sense of self-worth so they might want to live for their own sake. Don’t make it about you, you’ll be pilling on the pressure adding to their stories about how little their own life is worth

To the victims who are fighting suicidal thoughts ,SUICIDE IS A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO A TEMPORARY PROBLEM and you know it so concentrate on what keeps you alive. Think of who will lick your plate after every meal to intentionally annoy everyone, who will wake up in the middle of the night to ‘finalize’ on the left overs, who is going to fulfil your dreams ,who is going to shoot your shots on your crush, think of the beautiful sunsets you’re going to miss and lastly think of the judgement that awaits for you. Purify yourself to clear the temporary change. Repent when you still have time. HELL IS REAL 🔥.

Remember God never dissapoints .He will always be your comfort 😇
